Redwood Ave

Mar Vista

The owners of this charming Spanish were ready to sell, but the property had some significant foundation and drainage issues. Repairing that was the first order of business. French drains were placed around the perimeter and the sill was bolted to the foundation to bring it up to seismic code.

After that the interior needed a facelift. New countertops, painted cabinets and hardware in the kitchen, and baths, along with a skim coat on the walls and fresh paint everywhere. It’s no secret that a fresh look and updated appliances will bring top dollar when it comes time to sell. This refresh saw our clients Mar Vista charmer go way over the asking price.
